Nectarine

Nectarine

In my office we are lucky enough to get fruit delivered twice a week, thanks to the Swedish taxpayer. I put this nectarine on my desk to ripen, and the next day it looked like this – except still annoyingly hard on the inside. Is it something to do with chemicals used in it’s production, or the air con in my office? I think it looks kind of beautiful, but not particularly tasty now.
