Putting Peas in Things

During my childhood, peas were always a side dish to be had with fish fingers or chicken nuggets. Since then I’ve been awakened to the many other possibilities of frozen or fresh peas, especially the frozen ones as they are so cheap.

A good example of this is the spaghetti dish cooked by my friend the other night, with fresh mint, anchovy (oops, it was a Friday), oil, garlic and, of course, peas. So simple.

I was reminded of this when I saw this Toretellini with asparagus, peas and mint recipe over at Fiesty Red Hair’s blog.
